Chile Relleno

Crispy Chicken Flautas:

Ingredients Make 4 Servings:

  • 8-12 Li'L Guy Thin Style Corn Tortillas
  • 1 lb. Chicken Breast or Tenders
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion Diced
  • 1 Cup of Finely Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 Tbs. Li'L Guy Taco Seasoning
  • Li'l Guy Salsa
  • Sour Cream and/or Guacamole for dipping (optional)
  • (Also need tooth picks, oil and a fryer)


In a large skillet cook the chicken and diced onion, add the Tbs. of Li'L Guy Taco Seasoning while cooking, cook till browned and drain. Shred the chicken with the flat side of two forks, working in a motion from center out. Set fryer at 350 degrees; divide shredded chicken and cheese up and down the center of slightly warmed tortillas, roll up tight and stick with toothpick to secure. Fry for approximately 30-45 seconds, or until crispy, then drain. Serve immediately and dip in Li'L Guy Salsa, and/or Sour Cream and Guacamole.
